Effective Storage

I will be dealing with large amounts of data.

This means I need to find the best ways to store my data.

To do this the best way possible I need to follow a method.

Standardisation

My Data needs to be of a standard, my standards arent going to be to high or hard to follow however there are a few things that I desire.

1. Data must be good and relevant
From this what I mean is that data is good and what I want, if its not I don't want to store it.

2. Data must only be from twitter
Data I gather must only be from twitter. At the moment there isn't any plans to include any other social networks.

Centralization

Data needs to be in the same place at the same time always I cannot risk losing data because I haven't stored it properly. That said there will be backups of all data.

From what I have read around the web what makes effective storage for big data sets is making sure its good data, ensuring it is the data you want and making sure that your data is secure and you have it all in a central location where you are able to access it.
