The purpose of the meeting was to check progress from the last tutorial.
I showed the work I had submitted which was an onscreen definition of the project. I then had to pitch my idea to a lecturer who wasn't avaliable last week and get more of a scope for the project.
At the meeting we discussed the following:
- How is the data to be visualised to the client?
- Heat map's using the Google Maps API
- Monitoring the # from a given company to produce a snapshot of data.
- Compiling the napshops to visualise long term trends.
All of this is kinda related with having the other lecturer there who is abit more technical, I was able to get my idea across better as she could see if it was viable and also guide me into better methods of doing things.
By the next tutorial I am required to research the current Twitter API and discover how I can use it to accomplish what I want.
